Evangel Vineyard Church is a non-denominational church.

Founded in the spirit of prayers and Evangelism, we thrive in reaching out to our community and beyond. We believe everyone has something to share in God’s kingdom. EVC started in Spokane City in the year 2021. Three families met to pray when COVID-19 was spreading like wildfire. This pandemic made all churches close at the time. Rev Joel Kamau, having moved from St Louis a month before the COVID-19 shutdown in the city of Spokane felt we can intercede for those who were left by their loved ones and those who were suffering from the calamity. We decided to look for a place to pray and found a Hall in Talbot Event Center, South Hill, Spokane City.

EVC was later relocated to Spokane Valley where we meet at Opportunity Presbyterian Church, Gym Hall. Our vision is edifying the African community in Spokane and beyond.
