Evangel Vineyard Church Spokane was born during the COVID-19 pandemic. Rev Joel Kamau, the founder of EVC both in Kenya and the USA was looking for an opportunity to pray for the people who were directly affected by the pandemic. Our family and two more came together and that became the genesis of Evangel Vineyard Church Spokane. We were so happy that God had preserved us!

We found a place to meet at Talbott where we were suffering from the availability of the hall. The challenge was intense, having some Sunday services held in the Park and or Hotel. Later God blessed us to share with a church that opened the door for us. We now share with them, having the first service and we later follow a second service at their gym hall.

We are a family of diversified communities. We have families whose origin is Kenya, Uganda, Sudan, Nicaragua, Tanzania, Nigeria, Ethiopia, America, and Ghana.
